Terms and Conditions

These terms govern your use of this site and any order you place with Purum. Placing an order means you accept them.

What we sell

Purum supplies lyophilized research peptides and related consumables for in-vitro laboratory research only. Nothing sold here is a medicine, a supplement or a cosmetic, and nothing sold here is for human or veterinary consumption.

Who may order

You may order only if you are 21 or older and are acquiring the products for laboratory research. You may not resell, relabel or supply them for human or animal use, and you are responsible for handling and disposing of them in line with the rules that apply where you are.

Orders and prices

  • Prices are in US dollars and are calculated on our servers at the moment you order.
  • Quantity pricing and protocol pricing are applied automatically. Discounts do not stack: a protocol is already priced below the sum of its parts, so quantity tiers do not apply on top.
  • We may correct an obvious pricing error before dispatch. If we do, we will contact you and you may cancel.
  • An order is accepted when we dispatch it, not when payment is taken.

Payment

We accept card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, bank transfer and cryptocurrency. Card details are handled by our payment processor and are never stored by us.

Delivery

  • We ship within the United States. Orders placed before cut-off are dispatched within 24 hours.
  • Delivery is typically 2 to 3 days, and is free on orders over $250.
  • Compounds that require it are shipped cold-chain with insulated packaging and gel packs. Outer packaging is unbranded.
  • Title and risk pass to you on delivery.

Returns

Because these are single-batch laboratory materials, we can only accept returns of unopened vials with the seal intact, within 14 days of delivery. Tell us before returning anything. We do not accept returns on opened vials or on cold-chain items that have left our control, for reasons of integrity rather than policy.

If a vial arrives damaged, or the batch code on the vial does not match the certificate, contact us with the order number and batch code and we will replace or refund it.

Batches and certificates

Every batch is tested by an independent laboratory before release, and the report is hosted on that laboratory’s own domain. The purity figure we publish is the figure the laboratory returned. We do not issue our own certificates.

Liability

We are responsible for supplying products that match their description and their certificate. We are not responsible for what is done with them after delivery, including any use outside laboratory research. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version in force is the one published here when you order.
